    2. Yes I'm from oklahoma. I'm not sure about teaching for oklahoma, but teaching at my school is amazing! Our principal and superintendent are just like us! She's been in the classroom, so she knows what its like. She is very laid back, very easy to get a long with. Right now though, we are going thru a lot of changes. We used to have the PASS objectives to teach to, but the new State Superintendent changed them to Common Core State Standards, and they are very different from the Pass, but Pre-K at our school isnt mandated so we don't have any standards. So we use kindergartens, but even the observations and evaluations have changed for us. I don't think it's just Oklahoma though I think a lot of states are going thru changes and honestly we think it's for the worst. We've been taught about not teaching to the test, but that's what it has come down to... we are having to teach to the test! anyways.... i love teaching in oklahoma. We have lots of rural kids. Down to earth people. I honestly love the people in our community. Nobody is so rich, that they are snubbish to other people. I've seen this at schools I've interned at. I love Oklahoma!

    3. Great resources from your local state Shanda; they all provide a healthy development plan for young children. You are very fortunate to have support for families to have children grow to their full potential. Public awareness is vital in the first years of a child’s live.
